Ingredients

– 2 tsp (≈ 10 ml) soy sauce

– 2 tsp (≈ 10 ml) Worcestershire sauce

– 1 can (20 oz / 567 ml) crushed pineapple, drained


Instructions

1-Place the chicken breasts in the slow-cooker insert to form the base of your dish.

2-Sprinkle the garlic powder and ground black pepper evenly over the chicken for a simple seasoning boost.

3-Add the diced green bell pepper, drained crushed pineapple, barbecue-style sauce, crumbled bacon if using, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.

4-Stir gently to combine everything, making sure the chicken is well coated with the sauce mixture.

5-Cover the slow cooker and cook on the low setting for 6 hours, resisting the urge to peek so the flavors develop fully.

6-Once done, shred the chicken with two forks for a pulled texture that soaks up the sauce.

7-Serve the chicken over cooked rice, on buns, or alongside steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
