Description

Ingredients

– 12 dry lasagna noodles

– 15 ounces Alfredo sauce

– 4 cups shredded cooked chicken

– 2 cups freshly shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

– ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, divided

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– ½ teaspoon lemon zest

– ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

– Chopped fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

1-Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray the bottom of a 9×13-inch casserole dish with nonstick spray and spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom. Set it aside to get everything prepped.

2-Cook lasagna noodles to al dente according to package directions, then drain and rinse with cold water to prevent sticking. This keeps them easy to handle for rolling.

3-In a large bowl, mix half of the Alfredo sauce with the shredded chicken, ½ cup mozzarella, ¼ cup Parmesan, garlic powder, lemon zest, and Italian seasoning. Blend until it’s a tasty filling ready for the noodles.

4-Place the noodles on a clean surface and pat dry. Divide the chicken mixture evenly over each noodle and roll them up tightly. Place the rolls seam side down in the prepared dish for a neat bake.

5-Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce evenly over the rolls and top with the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. This layer ensures a gooey, melted finish that’s irresistible.

6-Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until the chicken is warmed through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

7-Optionally, broil for 2-3 minutes for extra crispy cheese. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve your homemade Chicken Alfredo Lasagna Roll Ups hot.
