Description

🫐 Blueberry Muffin Cookies The Perfect Soft And Chewy Treat combine the beloved flavors of blueberry muffins with the chewy satisfaction of cookies for a delightful dessert.
🍪 These cookies offer a soft, jam-swirled center topped with a buttery streusel, making them perfect for an indulgent snack or sweet treat any time.

Ingredients

– 1/2 cup Unsalted butter (room temperature)

– 3/4 cup Granulated sugar

– 1 Egg (room temperature)

– 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract

– 1 3/4 cup All-purpose flour

– 1 tablespoon Milk

– 1/2 teaspoon Salt

– 3/4 teaspoon Baking powder

– 1/4 teaspoon Baking soda

– 1 1/4 cup Blueberries

– 4 tablespoons Blueberry jam

– 3 tablespoons Butter (room temperature)

– 2 tablespoons Brown sugar

– 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar

– 1/3 cup Flour

– a pinch Salt

Instructions

1-Preheat your oven: to 350°F (177°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to ensure cookies bake evenly and prevent sticking.

2-In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, combining dry ingredients thoroughly.

3-In a large bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then beat in the egg and vanilla extract, creating a smooth batter.

4-Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture into the wet ingredients, folding gently to combine without overmixing, which keeps cookies tender.

5-Carefully fold in fresh blueberries, taking care not to crush them, preserving their juicy pockets within the cookie.

6-Drop blueberry jam into dough; gently fold a few times to create large jam ribbons (do not overmix).

7-For streusel: Mix butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, flour, and salt with a fork until crumbly.

8-Scoop 1.5-ounce dough portions onto the prepared baking sheet; top each with streusel, pressing firmly.

9-Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are set and centers remain slightly doughy. Cool completely.

Notes

🫐 Use fresh blueberries to prevent excess moisture; add 1/4 cup extra flour if using frozen berries.
🍪 Avoid overmixing the dough to keep cookies soft and tender.
⏲️ Slightly underbake the cookies for the perfect chewy texture.
