Ingredients

New York strip steak or ribeye steak
Shrimp (26/30 count), peeled and deveined
Rigatoni, fettuccine, or pasta of choice
Grapeseed oil or vegetable oil
Extra virgin olive oil
Garlic cloves, minced
Shallots or yellow onions, chopped
Red pepper flakes
Sundried tomatoes, chopped
Tomato sauce
Vegetable broth
White wine vinegar
Freshly ground black pepper
Parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)
Parmesan cheese, grated
Romano cheese, grated
Butter (for Alfredo sauce)
Cajun seasoning (optional)
Beef tallow (optional)
Cream of chicken or mushroom soup (optional)
Bell peppers, chopped (optional)
Serrano peppers, sliced (optional)

Instructions

1. Begin by preparing your ingredients. Let the steak come to room temperature and peel and devein the shrimp if needed. Ensure all ingredients are set aside and ready to use.
2. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook your chosen pasta, such as rigatoni or fettuccine, according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water, then set aside.
3. Heat a skillet over high heat with grapeseed or vegetable oil. Sear the steak on both sides for about 3-4 minutes each, depending on your preferred doneness. Remove from the skillet and let the steak rest before slicing into strips.
4. In the same skillet, heat extra virgin olive oil and sauté minced garlic and chopped shallots or onions until fragrant. Add sundried tomatoes and red pepper flakes to enhance flavor.
5. Deglaze the skillet with white wine vinegar, scraping up any browned bits at the bottom. Stir in tomato sauce and vegetable broth, letting the mixture simmer for 5-10 minutes. You can add optional ingredients like cream of chicken soup at this stage for extra creaminess.
6. Add the shrimp to the simmering sauce and cook for about 2 minutes, until they are pink and opaque. Be sure not to overcook.
7. Toss the cooked pasta into the prepared sauce, mixing well to ensure the pasta is evenly coated. Fold in the sliced steak gently.
8. In a separate pan, prepare the Alfredo sauce by melting butter and stirring in freshly grated Parmesan and Romano cheeses. Add a splash of reserved pasta water for the desired sauce consistency.
9. Pour the Alfredo sauce over the pasta mixture, stirring until all components are evenly coated with the creamy sauce.
10. Season the dish with freshly ground black pepper and garnish with parsley or chives for a fresh touch. Add optional Cajun seasoning for additional heat if desired.
11. Serve the Steak and Shrimp Pasta Delight hot, topping with extra Parmesan cheese for added flavor and presentation.
