Ingredients

Canned pink salmon
Cornmeal
All-purpose flour (or almond flour for gluten-free option)
Onion, finely chopped
Bell pepper, finely chopped
Egg
Worcestershire sauce
Mayonnaise
Salt
Black pepper
Oil for frying
Optional: Cajun seasoning
Optional: Lemon juice
Optional: Herbs and spices of choice


Instructions

1. Drain the canned salmon and remove any bones and skin.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the salmon with cornmeal or breadcrumbs, flour, chopped onion, chopped bell pepper, egg, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings.
3. Add mayonnaise to help bind the mixture and keep the patties moist.
4. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
5. Shape the mixture into evenly sized patties.
6. Place the patties in the refrigerator and chill for about 15-30 minutes to help them hold together while cooking.
