Ingredients

Bread Flour
Whole Milk
Unsalted Butter
Sugar
Salt
Yeast
Milk Powder (optional)

Instructions

1. Warm the milk until it’s lukewarm and mix it with softened butter.
2. In a large bowl, combine the bread flour, sugar, salt, and milk powder (if using).
3. Sprinkle the yeast over the dry ingredients.
4. Gradually add the milk and butter mixture, stirring until a dough starts to form.
5. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
6. Place the dough in a bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm spot for 1-2 hours until it doubles in size.
7. While the dough is rising, prepare the Nutella filling by scooping 1-2 tablespoon dollops onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for at least 30 minutes.
8. Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air.
9. Divide the dough into equal-sized pieces, about 12-15 depending on your preferred size.
10. Flatten each piece of dough with your hands.
11. Place a frozen dollop of Nutella in the center of each flattened dough piece.
12. Seal the dough around the Nutella, rolling it into a ball.
13. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
14. Arrange the filled dough balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
15. Optionally brush the top of each dough ball with melted butter.
16. Bake the Nutella Bread Bombs in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes until golden brown.
