Ingredients

Dough (store-bought crescent roll dough or homemade)
Mozzarella cheese
Cheddar cheese
Pepperoni
Ham
Bacon
Cooked chicken
Scrambled eggs
Spinach
Mushrooms
Onions
Peppers
Marinara sauce
Cream sauce
Oregano
Basil
Garlic powder
Black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or prepare your air fryer/convection oven if you’re using one of these options.
2. Gather all your ingredients, including dough, cheese, protein, vegetables, sauces, and seasonings.
3. Roll out the dough and cut it into rectangular or square pieces. Place the dough on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
4. Grate the cheese, chop up any vegetables, and cook your proteins in preparation for filling.
5. Place a layer of cheese on one half of each dough piece, followed by the prepared protein, vegetables, and sauce. Add seasonings as desired to enhance flavor.
6. Be mindful not to overfill the dough pieces, as too much filling can cause the Hot Pockets to burst while baking.
7. Fold the dough over the filling to create a closed pocket. Seal the edges by pressing them together with a fork.
8. If desired, lightly brush the surface of the Hot Pockets with an egg wash or melted butter for a golden, crispy finish.
9. Transfer the prepared Hot Pockets to your preheated oven or air fryer.
10. Bake or cook the Hot Pockets for about 15-20 minutes in the oven or 12-15 minutes in an air fryer at 370°F. Monitor them closely to ensure they don’t burn.
11. Remove the Hot Pockets from the oven or air fryer when they are golden brown and crispy.
12. Allow the cooked Hot Pockets to cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before serving.
13. Serve warm and enjoy your homemade Hot Pockets with your favorite dipping sauces if desired.

Notes

1. Master the art of sealing your homemade Hot Pockets to prevent messy leaks.
2. Experiment with unique filling combinations like breakfast or vegetarian options.
3. Achieve the perfect crispiness by trying different cooking methods like air frying or baking.
